Reader letter: 12 hours? Windsor hospital ER times far too long

45% Informative
Lorna Barrow was sent to Windsor Regional Hospital’s Met campus emergency department by a doctor.
After being brought back into triage after a first round of tests, a lovely woman brought me a pillow for my head and a blanket.
I am 83 and it was a very stressful time spent in the waiting room.
I understand many people don't have a physician due to a shortage of family doctors.
Once these people are seen by our very efficient triage personnel and found not to be an emergency, they should be sent to one of our clinics.
