61% Informative
Stephanie Broadbridge had her original creation, Raygun: The Musical , shut down after the Olympian ’s legal team stepped in.
The musical is being dubbed an “unauthorized (but completely legal) parody’ of an Olympian 's journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics .
Broadbridge has since rebranded the show, now titled Breaking The Musical .
She detailed the reasons behind her legal team shutting down the musical.
She has trademarked her name and her now famous kangaroo silhouette pose.
Raygun star says she is not profiting from trademarking her image.
She says the moves were inspired by Australia ’s Olympic mascot BK , the boxing kangaro.
“It in no way mimics Aboriginal dance,” she said.
