US Pushes to Bypass Regulator, OK More Starlink Launches at Space Force Base

California Coastal Commission voted to restrict SpaceX Falcon 9 launches to 100 per year at Vandenberg Space Force Base .
In October , the commission voted 6 -4 to deny a proposal to increase the number of launches from 36 to 50 per year.
The Department of the Air Force has kicked off a federal process to examine the environmental effects of the increase.
