Rules on bright headlights could change as drivers feel unsafe

Around 90 percent of drivers in the UK have complained that modern headlights are 'too bright' Department for Transport has commissioned the Transport Research Laboratory to investigate glare.
Research will be carried out in summer 2025 and additional measures will be introduced by 2027 .
RAC survey of 2,000 drivers found 85 percent believe bright headlights are getting worse’.
