How would the 'Godzilla Plane' have changed the tide of war in the Pacific?

The Koanishi KX3 was the largest sea plane ever proposed by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1943 .

It would have been able to transport 1000 soldiers or Imperial Marines at a time with all of their equipment included.

The plane would have a boat like hull for waterborne takeoffs and landings.

The aircraft would have required 24 men with a crew of 24 men on a full load of its range of 18,000 kilometres or 11/2 thousand kilometres .

The KOA Nishi Aircraft Company was a leading Japanese aircraft manufacturer during World War 2 .

Founded in 1920 as the Ikoa Nishi Engineering works in Hill Girl Prefecture .

The company developed the E15 KA reconnaissance float plane called the Shuni or Violet Cloud in 1941 , the very same year of the Pearl Harbor attacks.

And it was around that time that the Imperial Japanese Navy took an interest in the firm.

The KX3 Mega project was a serious project that was well underway, and had the war kept going, we would have seen it in service.

But the war ended before the project gone into the air.
