Police investigated over man's death after officers attend reports of child being assaulted

Metropolitan Police officers were called to reports of a child being assaulted in South Norwood .
A 45-year-old man was "very agitated and was actively resisting against officers" He was experiencing a medical emergency and was restrained while paramedics were called.
He was transported to an ambulance but became seriously unwell and later died in hospital.
Independent Office for Police Conduct is now investigating the incident.
