The Boca Vanguard is the largest of its type and one of the largest single machines in the world and a staggering 275 metres long.
With its five skyscraper tall towers, it's able to carry the largest seagoing vessels over 110,000 tons or entire oil rigs with ease.
It's flat open central deck is actually completely empty with five large vertical wall like structures protruding from it's sides.
The Boca Vanguard is the latest heavy lift ship to be built to transport oil rigs.
It has a top speed of around 14 knots, or 26 kilometres per hour when it doesn't have any cargo loaded on board.
The ship is also capable of providing offshore dry dock facilities, allowing ships and floating oil rigs to be raised out of the water for inspection or maintenance without a break in production.
And it can also act as a construction platform for bridges or construction of canals.
And I'm sure that if we were in a stage where such a vessel could be commandeered by the US military, it would be put to work in quite an interesting way. But watch this space, because the team behind this monster ship is already planning a new one, and apparently it's going to be even bigger..
