B.C. Budget 2025: Health care gets a cash injection

But it does not clearly address two prominent health-care issues: specialized health professionals, some of whom play a critical role in surgeries, and the expansion of involuntary care for individuals with mental health and addiction issues.

Doctors of B.C. says it is disappointed there was no commitment to recruiting and retention of specialist physicians.
