US stops sharing air quality data, raising scientists’ concerns

Scientists and experts say the effort was vital to monitor global air quality and improve public health.
The State Department says it will no longer transmit air pollution data to the Environmental Protection Agency's AirNow app.
The change was "due to funding constraints" the department says.
