3D printed electrodes could cut the cost of a solid-state battery by up to 60%

Researchers have found a new cathode material that works just as well as lithium iron phosphate, but costs only one or two percent of its price, potentially knocking 50 to 60% off the cost of a finished battery.
The ultimate goal is to make these technologies accessible to everyone.
