This is a Renaissance era Italian fortress owned by a guy who collects anvils.
The fortress is over 400 years old and is in the process of renovating it to restore it to its former glory.
It's the largest, it's considered the largest fortress in Italy .
I've been in buildings this old before, but normally they were in a museum.
Anvil's and vices are the largest vices I have ever seen by far.
These giant Italian post vices were not common at all and it sounds like they were really only made in Italy and I haven't really seen them anywhere else.
This is the biggest anvil I've ever seen. It weighs about 100 more than my little giant power hammer, which is crazy to think about. It's a very holy feeling place.
There's 260 anvils outside in the yard there. That is bigger than any anvil collection than I had seen. It was an absolute treat to get to see so many different shapes in such a wide variety.
Different countries produce different shapes, and then different time periods produce very different looking anvil.
