The deal includes a $250-million indoor/outdoor “event park” east of Rogers Place ; $68 million for site servicing and other land work.

The Alberta government isn't showing much enthusiasm for the Edmonton Oilers deal.

The province's maximum contribution is $183.4 million , well off the $330 million the province invested down south.

The deal falls short of full fairness with Calgary 's arena project.

Getting a bigger slice of a much smaller pie still means a smaller pie.
