Tesla Cybertruck tow hitch stress test reveals potential design flaws

Tesla Cybertruck's electric pickup is rated to tow up to 11,000 pounds ( 4,990 kilograms ) The maximum tongue weight on the tow hitch is capped at 1,100 lbs ( 499 kg ) The electric truck was subjected to a stress test by Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything fame.
Nelson used heavy construction equipment to push down on the electric truck's tow hitch and the whole rear section of the vehicle snapped off.
The thickness of the frame is very thin, measuring between 3/16 and 1/8 of an inch.
