Rare aardvark trace fossils discovered in South Africa

The trace fossil record, including tracks, tail impressions, feeding traces, burrows, and even coprolites (fossil feces) is surprisingly scarce.
To date, only a single, unconfirmed, and undated, undated aardvark burrow may have been identified previously.
