The two models of the Avro car produced belonged to the United States , but the second model was linked to Canada for display. After being outdoors exposed to the elements, it was sent to the US Army Transportation Museum in Virginia for restoration. The first Avrocar was sent to the National Air and Space Museum in Maryland , but was in storage until the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Ohio borrowed it.
