First metal 3D printed part from space returns for testing

The first metal 3D printed part produced in space has returned to Earth for testing.
It was created aboard the International Space Station using ESA ’s Metal 3D Printer.
The first of these samples is set for analysis at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands .
The second sample will be studied at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
