Another fire breaks out at one of the world’s largest lithium-ion battery storage facilities in California

Residents were told to close their windows and doors after a fire broke out at a battery storage facility in California .

Monterey County officials said the fire started in the burned-out area where a January 16 fire burned out.

High levels of nickel, manganese, and cobalt were found in the soil within 2 miles of the facility.
