DOGE v DOD: David Meets Goliath

The Department of Government Efficiency is right to look into waste, fraud, and abuse at the Department of Defense .

The U.S. military has struggled to meet demands for actual warfighting equipment, such as ships, fighter jets, and munitions.

This makes it all the more astounding that so much of the DOD’s budget goes toward “research” that props up left-wing causes.

DOGE could start by scrutinizing spending reports, contracts, and grants awarded to universities and other such institutions.

Identifying projects that overlap between military branches would reduce redundant efforts and save valuable time, resources, and money.

Resources saved should then be reallocated to procurement of ships, planes, and munitions.
