Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says the Pentagon is not in the business of climate change

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to CNN reporter Haley Britzky ’s post on Sunday about the Pentagon 's plans to cut climate-related programs.

He said the Department of Defense would not be devoting resources to combatting climate change.

The Pentagon has pointed to climate programs as an example of wasteful spending in the military.
