Dawn Butler’s ‘black caucus’ is divisive and ridiculous

Labour MP Dawn Butler announced the launch of a black caucus' in the UK parliament last week .

She said it will tackle the challenges disproportionately faced by black and minoritised communities.

The idea of the caucus is an American import, and it is not an answer to the problems faced by UK citizens.

Britain needs a political class that sees people as citizens, not as members of racial groups.
